Mahanetra / Hemanth Madupu
I am a multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose work explores human encounters, migration, and everyday social narratives. My practice is rooted in observing how people inhabit spaces and how shared environments shape identity and belonging.
Growing up in India and later living in Qatar exposed me to diverse cultures and communities, shaping my interest in the subtle connections and divisions within everyday life. Through photography and collaborative projects, I engage with people in public spaces, allowing stories to emerge through dialogue and participation.
Alongside my artistic practice, I have documented international cultural events and public gatherings, experiences that continue to influence my interest in collective moments.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Photography and Society at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
